About Ian

Ian Roddy is a sports journalist and multimedia producer based in Los Angeles, California.

He currently works as a producer at FOX Sports Radio, where he produces multiple shows per week, including FOX Sports Saturday, FOX Sports Sunday, the I Want Your Flex podcast and more.

Previously, he studied at USC Annenberg, where he obtained his master’s degree in Journalism and helped found The Talk of Troy, USC’s first-ever student-run live sports talk radio show. Before that, he studied Journalism and Economics at Loyola Marymount University, from where he holds a bachelor’s degree.

Ian also contributes for Jets X-Factor, a credentialed news and analysis site centered around the New York Jets. He writes breaking news stories, player profiles, NFL draft prospect breakdowns, columns and more.

A year ago, he additionally started and continues to run ‘The Draft Room’ (@TheDraftRoomNFL) a Twitter/X account devoted to year-round coverage of the NFL draft and college football. The account currently has 1.5k followers and counting.
