Master’s Degree Capstone
Every year, hundreds of football players’ futures hang in the balance during the NFL draft. Some go pro, others go home with an uncertain future. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to follow and cover up-close the draft process of 2023 prospect Jake Bobo, UCLA’s top receiver in 2022. I also spoke with ’23 draft prospect out of LSU, Jay Ward, as well as Darrell Baker Jr., cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts, among others.
The NFL Draft is one of my biggest passions. This story is my Capstone for my Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California. Every aspect of it was created, coded, filmed, edited, researched and reported by me alone (with guidance from mentors, of course) over the course of the 2023 NFL draft process. I hope you enjoy it.
