he New York Jets roster is currently one of the youngest in the NFL. Naturally, this means that some young players will need to step up and fill important leadership roles if the team wants to build a winning culture.

One young player who looks to be taking charge of the locker room is second-year cornerback Bryce Hall. In a short clip tweeted out by the Jets, coach Robert Saleh is seen addressing the team after an apparently productive day of practice, and Hall breaks the huddle to close things out.

“Every little detail matters,” Saleh said to the team. “You guys stack up days like this, I promise you there’s nowhere to go but up.”

By this point, we already know Saleh is a leader of men. Videos like this with him addressing the team are great to see, but it’s the end of the clip that stands out.

A few voices can be heard calling for Hall before he finally emerges from the crowd, praises the team’s work this week, and leads a quick chant to break the huddle.

Hall, a former fifth-round pick out of Virginia, was widely praised during his draft process. Coaches, scouts, and reporters alike talked of his incredibly high character and special leadership traits.
